Made with love in Edmonton, AB.
Shelly Leroux specializes in work that explores the intersection between science and art. This includes drawing found natural objects or using these materials to create a chemical reaction in ceramic decoration. Observation, process, and wellness, is at the heart of her artwork. It is an ever-evolving exploration of the cause and effect of different combinations of form, colour, chemical reactions, and chance. “I love to go outdoors and gather natural objects such as sticks, stones, and feathers. These forms are beautiful and inspire me to recreate them in some way.”
